Deklarasi Negara Aceh Sumatera

Pada 4 Desember 1976, Hasan Di Tiro mendeklarasikan negara Aceh Sumatera atau 14 tahun kemudian setelah Daud Beureueh menyerah kepada Penguasa Daulah Pancasila.

Bunyi deklarasi kemerdekaan Negara Aceh Sumatra, yang dikutip dari buku "The Price of Freedom: the unfinished diary of Tengku Hasan di Tiro" (National Liberation Front of Acheh Sumatra,1984) (hal: 15-17) adalah:

"To the people of the world: We, the people of Acheh, Sumatra, exercising our right of self-determination, and protecting our historic right of eminent domain to our fatherland, do hereby declare ourselves free and independent from all political control of the foreign regime of Jakarta and the alien people of the island of Java....In the name of sovereign people of Acheh, Sumatra.

Tengku Hasan Muhammad di Tiro. Chairman, National Liberation Front of Acheh Sumatra and Head of State Acheh, Sumatra, December 4, 1976".

Artinya, "Kepada rakyat di seluruh dunia: Kami, rakyat Aceh, Sumatra melaksanakan hak menentukan nasib sendiri, dan melindungi hak sejarah istimewa nenek moyang negara kami, dengan ini mendeklarasikan bebas dan berdiri sendiri dari semua kontrol politik pemerintah asing Jakarta dan dari orang asing Jawa....Atas nama rakyat Aceh, Sumatra yang berdaulat. Tengku Hasan Muhammad di Tiro. Ketua National Liberation Front of Acheh Sumatra dan Presiden Aceh Sumatra, 4 Desember 1976")
